| Job
Contract Definition |
Customer
Job Contract agreement includes, services to provide, various
charge schemes, various invoicing methods, shipping and billing
addresses, payment terms, billing currency, service level agreements,
types of jobs like air import, air export etc. During job creation
this contract is tagged to the job which in turn inherits this
template |
| |
| Job
Order Management |
Job
orders can be entered via multiple mediums like web browser, PDA,
EDI files. The job order entry allows one to create job orders
of a regular shipment with comprehensive details which include
flight information, freight forwarder details, job quantification
details, shipping and billing details. Different types of jobs
like rejected jobs, dummy jobs can be created. Bigger jobs can
be split and later merged facilitating easy operations |
| |
| Distance
Matrix |
Facilitates
to create a district to district, city to city, state to state
cross country distance and time matrix. Using this matrix the
system automatically derives the optimal estimated collection
and delivery time. |
| |
| Flexible
Configuration |
LogMan’s
highly configurable screens allows one to configure work week
calendar, plant addresses, currency exchange rate, details about
trading partners. An audit trail feature gives a complete control
to follow-up trailing up to user level. |

| Job
Order Status Monitoring |
LogMan provides several ways to monitor the
statuses of job orders. Gantt Chart provides a graphical lay out
to provide the status and information of the jobs. This chart gives
information about plant location and estimated time for job completion.
Tabular format provides data in matrix representation giving details
of the job order status with all other related information.
Jobs
orders can be created via EDI files, PDA devices or manually using
Web Interface. Features to have Pre-Alerts via B2B and auto-job
creation, jobs are then scheduled to trucks upon clearance. Job
order status is updated as cargo is cleared from terminal until
POD and subsequently invoice generated |
| |
| Efficient
Freight Operations Management |
LogMan
is tailored to master the automation of Air Import, Air Export,
Agent to Agent, Local Collection & Delivery for Air, Sea and
Land Freights. For example Under Terminal Export it handles reception
of Cargo from Warehouse with relevant documents; create the job
order via PDA, EDI or manual input with MAWB. Build the pallet
if needed; Update the job status and its details via PDA or Web
interface by MAWB accordingly. Update the required job information
by checking all jobs are closed once they are POD(ed) and once
done, it’s ready for invoice to be generated. |
| |
| Optimal
Job Scheduling and Route Planning |
LogMan’s
intelligent middle tier allows for optimal job pickup and delivery
planning aiding the operations manager in his decisions. The system
will give at his disposal all the information needed for optimal
planning which includes a auto computed default routing plan to
amplify shipment profit margin of the trips. |

| Fleet
Management |
Fleet
Management is a one stop vehicle information database. It tracks
the vehicle’s status whether it’s on corrective maintenance
or available for jobs to be scheduled by Traffic coordinator.
It can keep track of service partner’s vehicles too which
is taken into account while generating the billing summary. This
module keeps tracks of traffic accidents, offenses; the vehicle’s
servicing records etc. Additionally this module churns out statistical
reports like Mileage status report, Vehicle and Equipment Allocation
report. |
| |
| E-Tracking |
E-Tracking
portal helps customers and operators track jobs online. The drivers
use PDA mobile devices to update the job order status which is
reflected on this portal real time. Customers can use MAWB, HAWB
and many other reference identifications to search. With GPS integrated,
one can track the vehicle on the countries map. |
| |
| Docket |
Docket
module helps to schedule and execute a list of jobs to be carried
out for the day. A Docket report printed has all the information
a driver needs to pick up and deliver a job order. Operator can
assign a vehicle, driver, assistants to a docket which has the
list of jobs. |
| |
| Security
and Access Rights |
LogMan’s
security features allow certain users with required privileges
to access certain part of the system. The administrator can set
the access rights for each user. |
| |
| Man
Power Resource Management |
Employee
database (staff, drivers, delivery assistants, system users) is
managed in this module. |
| |
| EDI/
B2B Interfacing |
Information
from the database like job statuses, job pre alerts, job invoicing
can be exchanged with trading partners using EDI. LogMan has successfully
interfaced EDI 214, EDI 210, and EDI 856 for several customers.
| |
| Billing
Summary Module |
Once
the jobs are POD(ed), the accounts department can use the billing
summary module to generate the invoicing data available in the
database and post it to any accounting software or use it to transfer
as EDI with trading partners. |
